A major accident was averted when an axle of an ST bus traveling from Pali to Pachhapur broke. The wheel almost came off, but fortunately, disaster was avoided. On Monday (5th) around 8:30 in the morning, the Daryagav ST bus going from Pali to Pachhapur started making a sudden noise at the Pachhapur junction.

Some passengers heard this noise and asked the conductor to stop the bus. The driver immediately stopped the ST bus and got down to check. It was then observed that the axle of the rear wheel of the bus had come out. Because of the alertness of the passengers, a major accident was prevented. The road from Pachhapur junction to Pachhapur village is steep and in a state of disrepair. The tar on the road has worn off, leaving potholes and large stones scattered on the road. If the passengers hadn't noticed this in time and the noise hadn't been heard on the bad road, the axle would have come off the wheel, causing the ST bus to crash and a major accident would have occurred. Passengers expressed their anger over this negligence.
